Billing FAQs
How do I verify my insurance coverage?
Call our office at (972) 731-6565 and our team will verify your benefits before your appointment. You can also contact your insurance company directly using the number on your card. We recommend verifying coverage at least a few days before your scheduled visit.
What if my insurance plan isn't listed?
We work with many insurance plans not listed here. Please call our office to verify coverage for your specific plan. We're constantly adding new insurance partnerships to better serve our patients.
Do you offer self-pay or cash-pay options?
Yes, we offer competitive self-pay rates for patients without insurance or those who prefer to pay out-of-pocket. Please contact our billing department for current pricing on specific services.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), debit cards, HSA (Health Savings Account) cards, and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) cards.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, we understand healthcare costs can be significant. We offer flexible payment plans for patients who need them. Please speak with our billing team to discuss options that work for your budget.
What is a copay vs. coinsurance vs. deductible?
A copay is a fixed amount you pay at each visit (e.g., $30). A deductible is the amount you must pay before insurance begins covering services. Coinsurance is the percentage you pay after meeting your deductible (e.g., 20% of the allowed amount). Our team can help explain your specific plan details.
Will I receive a bill after my visit?
You may receive a bill for any amount not covered by your insurance, such as your deductible, copay, or coinsurance. Bills are typically sent after your insurance processes the claim, which can take 2-4 weeks.
How do I get a cost estimate before my procedure?
Contact our billing department at (972) 731-6565 to request a cost estimate for any planned procedure. We can work with your insurance to provide an estimate of your out-of-pocket costs.
